You may be prompted for a login when trying to access some AU Library resources. These subscription resources are accessed using your AU Library login.
The AU Library login is shared with you during your Library briefing or orientation and is only available to current Air University students, faculty and staff. Due to license agreements, AU alumni and non-AU members are not eligible for this login.
If you missed the briefing or cannot remember your login, click the button below to request a new AU Library login.
Request an AU Library Database/Journal password
The request requires a valid DoD, USG, or au.af.edu email address. Requests are addressed as quickly as possible and are typically answered within one business day. No commercial email addresses or telephone requests will receive a response.

Materials available without an AUL login:
- There are many free and open access resource available through the catalog, databases, and journal links found through our homepage.
- You can still come into the physical Library building during regular business hours if you have access to Maxwell AFB.
- There are also Air Force Library materials available through the Air Force Portal. Check the banner for the “Library and Resources” tab, then click on “Online Resources”.
